The undergraduate degrees at USC Annenberg provide a strong foundation for students interested in careers within communication industries: the media, public relations, advertising, strategic corporate and organizational communication, political consulting, higher education, and many more. Our approach is innovative, professionally focused. You will develop an entrepreneurial perspective plus economic and cultural literacy skills.
USC Annenberg offers three undergraduate degrees:
- Communication: One of the most versatile degrees offered at USC, a bachelor's degree in communication will expose you to communication theory and the power of messages in entertainment, sports media, politics, and intercultural and interpersonal interactions.
- Journalism: With options in Print and Digital Journalism and Broadcast and Digital Journalism, you will focus on writing, reporting, multimedia storytelling, ethics and producing journalism through state of the art media labs.
- Public Relations: If you enjoy advocating for a cause, campaign, company or brand, this major will provide you with skills in media writing, strategic decision making, and crisis management to work in PR firms, non-profits, corporate communication, and entertainment, to name a few.
